The Future of spraying is here with the Hardi Intelligent sprayer!
HARDI have extended the Intelligent range of optional features for both the trailed Commander and Alpha Self propelled sprayers for 2008.
The award winning “Intelligent” sprayer range features new options designed to make spraying easier and safer for the operator whilst setting new standards of precision and control. The HC6500 controller is the brain behind the Intelligent sprayer, with a large colour display and joystick control of all the primary spraying controls including boom hydraulics, the top line in spray computers.
Operator fatigue is reduced with a number of “active boom management” systems. Full hydraulic management of the boom is offered by the AutoHeight System. Controlling the boom height, tilt and slant functions, through proportional valves, the AutoHeight system results in superior boom control. Operator stress is reduced by not having to make constant adjustments and allows higher application speeds to be achieved. The operator can choose between soil or crop mode at the flick of a switch, depending on field conditions. HeadLandAssist aids the operator whilst turning at headlands, automatically raising the boom to a predetermined height, set by the operator, turning the sections off and then lowering back to original spray height before spraying commences.
The Fluid system has not been overlooked either when it comes to precise control and Intelligence. The AutoSectionControl automatically controls the operation of the sections, down to an individual nozzle if desired. It can be linked to any number of popular GPS guidance systems, for example Trimbel and John Deere systems. The new PrimeFlow makes it possible to prime the booms before spraying starts and also allows easier and safer cleaning at the end of the day. The AutoFill and AutoAgitation features simplify filling by filling to the operators chosen volume before stopping and provides the optimal settings for agitation reducing the aggresivness as the tank contents decrease.
Its not just during filling and spraying that Hardi have made the operators work easier through functional design. Once the spray job has finished AutoWash takes over. AutoWash makes internal cleaning of the sprayer possible from the driver seat. At the touch of a button the operator can select one of three wash programs which will result in a sprayer completly clean and ready to start over again.
