“Intelligent” features available on Alpha VariTra

HARDI “Intelligent” features now available on Alpha VariTrack 2500 and 3000 litre Self Propelled Sprayers

HARDI has extended its “Intelligent range of sprayers” by introducing the new Alpha VariTrackiI 2500 or 3000 litre self propelled sprayer. Equipped with the well proven Delta boom available in sizes up to 28m the VariTrack also features the all new EasyDrive transmission with cruise control for driver comfort offering economical management of both transmission and engine settings.

The Intelligent package, which has been available on the award winning Commander trailed sprayer range, increases precision application, safety and user friendliness.  Operated by the HC 6500 spray computer and joystick control the system comprises six intelligent modules which allow the customer to tailor the sprayer to his own needs.

HC 6500 Controller

Easy operation behind the “Intelligent Sprayer”.  The 6500 controller is the top of the range spray computer from HARDI.  It offers operation of all intelligent features with in field primary control close to hand on the joystick.  It has a large colour screen which shows all important information at a glance.  A 12v printer enables spray records to be printed out whilst in field or downloaded directly to a PC.

AutoSectionControl provides precise application whilst saving on chemicals. HARDI ASC is a GPS based control system which automatically switches sections on or off when an already treaded area is passed with the spray boom.  When linked with the PrimeFlow circulation and priming system up to 13 sections can be operated , all freely configured by the operator, which can allow individual nozzle on off  Chemical savings of over 3% have already been reported in Australia where the system has been successfully running for the past two years

The fully automatic AutoWash system has a choice of three wash cycles operated from the sprayer cab at the push of a button on the HC6500 controller.  BoomFlush for flushing the boom and spraying system,  FastFlush for a fast basic clean or MultiRinse where a complete clean of the sprayer is initiated.  All offer time savings over conventional manual cleaning systems.

HARDI HeadLandAssist gives accurate auto control of the boom and spray when turning at headlands allowing the operator to concentrate on turning back into the tramlines.  When the spray is stopped the boom automatically raises to a preset height, defined by the operator,  levels and returns to the original spray height when re entering the tramline.  If the operator had the boom tilted HeadLandAsssit will automatically puts the same amount of tilt on when re-entering the crop.
